This Canister is Very Special Piece To Me. It was fired in a wood-burning atmospheric kiln. The Chinese stamped texture is enhanced with flashing slip.

These stamps are unique to me and my family. My mom is a ceramic artist as well as my Great Aunt, Belarusian born in Minsk. How Interesting our DNA is…. the textured imprints on our lives get passed from one generation to the next!
